De verwachting is dat \u2013 zelfs na covid &#8211;\u00a0 deze stijgende trend aanhoudt. Bijna 7 op 10 verwachten dat ze volgend jaar evenveel zullen kopen. 25% zegt dat ze in de toekomst nog meer online zullen kopen.<\/p>\n<p>De B.O.S.S. peilt ook naar de elementen waar online shoppers zich zorgen over maken tijdens het online shoppen. Opvallend hierbij is dat consumenten voor het eerst de bescherming van hun data als belangrijkste element opgeven. Meer dan de helft van de respondenten (54%) geeft aan dat privacy hun grootste bezorgdheid is. Zij ervaren dit als belangrijker dan het ontvangen van een niet beschadigd pakket of een kwalitatief product.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Duurzaamheid, maar niet ten koste van alles<\/strong><\/h4>\n<blockquote><p>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u201c<em>Duurzaamheid is niet meer weg te denken uit de e-commerce omgeving.\u00a0 Voor 45% van de online shoppers moet een \u2018goede\u2019 webshop oog hebben voor duurzaamheid.\u00a0 Onze studie geeft aan dat consumenten duurzaamheid vooral associ\u00ebren met verpakking.<\/em>\u201d vertelt Greet Dekocker, Managing Director SafeShops.be.\u201c<\/span>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Om duurzaam te zijn, moet een webshop zich &#8211; volgens de deelnemers &#8211; focussen op: het gebruik van milieuvriendelijke verpakkingsmaterialen (41%), een effici\u00ebnte manier van verpakken (40%) en het recycleren van oude producten (38%).<\/p>\n<p>Een vierde van de respondenten is bereid meer te betalen voor duurzame producten. 33% van hen wil dat niet en 42% geeft aan dat ze daar geen mening over hebben. Opvallend is dat de 50+ generatie eerder weigerachtig staat tegen het meer betalen voor duurzame producten. Slechts 9% van hen toont daar een bereidheid toe. Dit in tegenstelling tot 32% bij de jongere generaties (18- 30jarigen &amp; 31 &#8211; 50 jarige)\u00a0 die wel bereid zijn om extra te betalen voor duurzame producten.<\/p>\n<p>Met betrekking tot de levering of het transport blijkt de kost doorslaggevend te zijn. 57% kiest voor een goedkopere levering, zonder aandacht voor duurzaamheid.\u00a0 Consumenten zijn wel bereid langer te wachten op de levering van hun pakket. 72% wil langer wachten als de levering op een duurzame manier gebeurt.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u201c<em>Als sectorvereniging kunnen we alleen maar toejuichen dat duurzaamheid ook binnen e-commerce aan belang wint. Tal van Belgische online shops leveren al een heleboel inspanningen op het vlak van sustainability, maar die worden vaak nog niet opgepikt door de consument. Een mooie opportuniteit dus voor webshops om hun duurzaamheidsinspanningen meer in de kijker te zetten.<\/em>\u201d zegt Greet Dekocker.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Greet Dekocker besluit: \u201c<em>Duurzame e-commerce is het resultaat van de keuzes die we met z\u2019n allen maken &#8211; als consument, als webshop, als logistieke partner.\u00a0 Elke schakel in de keten kan en moet zijn bijdrage leveren.\u00a0 Alleen zo kunnen we een duurzaam online traject ontwikkelen<\/em>.\u201d<\/span>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em><sup>*Belgian Online Shopper Survey.
