Ook het aantal online handelaren is met een vierde gestegen naar bijna 15.000.\u00a0 Drie procent van de Belgische online spelers is verantwoordelijk voor 86% van de gerealiseerde omzet in Belgi\u00eb. Dit zijn slechts enkele resultaten uit de eerste e-commerce Barometer die vandaag gepresenteerd werden.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Nieuwe, unieke invalshoek<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c<em>Informatie vanuit de online handel zelf, dat is het uitgangspunt voor de e-commerce Barometer<\/em>\u201d vertelt Greet Dekocker, Managing Director Safeshops.be \u2013 het kwaliteitslabel voor Belgische webshops.\u00a0 \u201c<em>Om een volledig beeld van de e-commerce markt te krijgen, is het noodzakelijk om ook deze data mee in kaart te brengen<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Deze data worden aangeleverd door PSP\u2019s, <em>Payment Service Providers. <\/em>Een PSP cre\u00ebert een betaalpagina tussen de handelaar of webshop en de consument waardoor veilige transacties worden gerealiseerd. Zij beschikken over de transactievolumes van onze Belgische BTW-plichtige online handelaren, ongeacht het betaalmiddel (kaart, bankmodules, PayPal,..). De studie kwam tot stand dankzij de input van CCV, Ingenico, Sisow, Worldline, Multisafepay,\u00a0 Europabank, Mollie en Icepay. Samen vertegenwoordigen zij 90% van het transactievolume in Belgi\u00eb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c<em>De samenwerking met PSP\u2019s was bijzonder interessant. Dankzij hun data hebben we nu een fijnmazig inzicht in de online bestedingen bij Belgische bedrijven. We kunnen voor het eerst analyseren welk aandeel in de totale bestedingen gerealiseerd wordt door Belgische of buitenlandse handelaren<\/em>\u201d legt Filip Vandegehuchte, The House of Marketing uit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Belgische handelaren veroveren marktaandeel op het buitenland<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In 2016 kwamen er in Belgi\u00eb 3096 nieuwe online handelaren bij. Dit komt overeen met een groei van 26% ten opzichte van 2015. Het totaal aantal online handelaren komt hierdoor bijna op 15.000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c<em>Dit zijn bijzonder positieve resultaten en er is nog beter nieuws. Belgische webshops grijpen marktaandeel terug op hun buitenlandse collega&#8217;s<\/em>\u201d gaat Filip Vandegehuchte verder. \u201c<em>Daar waar in 2015 nog 50% van de e-commerce bestedingen naar het buitenland verdween, zien we dat dit in 2016 naar 46% zakt<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">De resultaten van de e-commerce Barometer geven aan dat, in 2016, de Belgische e-commerce omzet gestegen is tot 5,001 miljard (+ \u20ac907.000 tov 2015). Deze groei komt voornamelijk door de groei van de allergrootste e-commerce partijen. Maar ook de grote hoeveelheid starters (3095) neemt deel aan deze beweging.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Vooral grote spelers beheersen Belgische markt<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Een kleine groep van grote spelers realiseert het leeuwenaandeel van de e-commerce omzet. \u00a0Zo staat slechts 3% van de Belgische online handelaren in voor 86% van de omzet. 15% van de Belgische webshops slaagt er in meer dan \u20ac100.000 omzet te realiseren. Bij starters is 6% &#8211; in het eerste jaar van hun lancering &#8211; in staat meer dan \u20ac100.000 transactie volume te bereiken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c<em>We zijn bijzonder blij met de resultaten van deze e-commerce Barometer. In combinatie met het groeiend aantal consumenten bestedingen, duiden deze cijfers op het feit dat e-commerce in Belgi\u00eb sterker wordt.
